Sherpa is also sometimes called borg or teddy-bear fleece. The texture of the sherpa fleece is soft and fluffy, resembling wool or sheepskin but is 100% vegan and certified by PETA.

MATERIAL:
The sherpa fleece jacket is made from 70% recycled polyester & 30% polyester. It’s PETA approved vegan and certified by the Sustainable Apparel Coalition and the Global Recycle Standard. The recycled polyester has been saved from landfill or ending up in our oceans. Recycled polyester also takes over 50% less energy to produce.

The weight of the sherpa jacket fabric is 440gsm. For comparison, my sweatshirts are usually around 280 gsm so that means the jacket is much thicker and will easily keep you warm.

I’ve noticed it doesn’t let the wind in (even when it’s blowing a gale!) The material is dense rather than adding extra bulk.

Lined with a blanket-like smooth fleece (which is smoother than the sherpa on the outside). This is where most of the warmth comes from as the tightly knit fleece traps tiny pockets of air which hold your body heat. Cosy!

SIZING:
• The sherpa fleece jacket is a relaxed, boxy fit, designed to be worn over other layers of clothing. I’m usually a UK 6-8 and wear an XS in the photos.
• Please use the measurements of the jacket to decide which size to order. I suggest comparing to a top you already own to best gauge the size.

CARE:
 • Machine wash inside out at 30°C
 • Wash with similar colours
 • Do not tumble dry
 • Do not iron
